Prices and Rate Structure

Except for the flat-rate specials listed below, the general rate for all services is $30 per hour during regular business hours.  The rate for emergency services provided during nights and weekends is $60 per hour. 

Desktop PC or Laptop Repairs

The price to repair a standard desktop PC or most any laptop computer is a flat $90 for desktops and $120 for laptops.  If the repair should require any parts to be upgraded or replaced, you will be given a quote with the additional cost of the parts.  If for any reason the computer cannot be repaired or you choose not to pay additional costs of any replacement parts, there is no charge for the repair attempt. 

Standard Web Sites

The price for a standard web site is a flat $45.  A standard web site includes up to five pages of your own text, pictures, graphics, and color scheme.  Also provided for each page is a SPAM prevention technique for e-mail addresses.

Custom Web Sites

The price for a custom web site is based on the amount of time required to create it and, therefore, is provided at the general rate of $30 per hour.  Burkhart Technology Services understands that many who are seeking professional services are on a budget and have a set price or price range they are willing to pay.  That is why you can request an Estimate or even a Guaranteed Quote.

Estimates

Burkhart Technology Services can give you an estimate for how long a custom web site should take to produce and that translates to an estimate on the cost as well.  Simply let Burkhart Technology Services know the layout and functionality requirements as well as specifics for any needed creative services, such as a custom logo, special textures and patterns, or animation sequences.  A custom web site typically requires a minimum of three hours ($90) to setup.  However, providing your own content (text, pictures, and graphics) will reduce the time it takes and the associated cost of getting the web site you really want. 

Guaranteed Quotes

This is almost identical to an Estimate, except that you will know exactly how much you will be paying.  The main difference is that the price tag sometimes runs a little higher than you would have paid otherwise.  This is to ensure that Burkhart Technology Services will be compensated for most, if not all, of the time invested.  However, the price may also occasionally be lower.  But, even the highest price will be much lower than what most other organizations are currently charging. 

Web Site Hosting

Web site hosting can be provided by a partnering company for as little as $5 per month.  No, that's not a misprint.  It's really just $5 per month.  The hosting includes your own domain (www.MyDomain.com), virtually unlimited e-mail addresses, security protection, and even daily backups of your web site.  However, setup fees and any needed hosting management are not included.  These can be included for an additional $5 per month or provided at the general hourly rate on an as-needed basis. 

A featured hosting package offered by Burkhart Technology Services for $15 per month includes setup, hosting, management, and monthly maintenance.  The monthly maintenance covers virtually any monthly changes to the content (text, graphics, and pictures) of your web site.  It also covers any changes to e-mail addresses or accounts and changes to registration information. 

The only web sites that would not qualify for the above pricing, would be those requiring special services, such as e-Commerce sites, special servers, such as .Net, PHP, or streaming media, or those bearing excessive burdens of space, traffic, or changes.  If none of this means anything to you, it will likely not apply.  But, you can always just ask if you have any concerns.
